Beat On The Cat

I was house-sitting for a friend and watching her pets. She told me her cat, Ringo, shows his affection by coming up and head-butting you.

I was watching TV one night and the cat comes creeping up along the back of the couch. He head-butts me in the head.

It's cute, so I head-butt him back. He does it again harder, I do it back. He does it again harder, I do it again...too hard.

The cat was knocked off the back of the couch and rendered unconscious by my love tap, and I had to take him to the 24 hour emergency animal hospital.

The vet said Ringo will be okay, had only a bump on the old noggin.

I confess I never told my friend. Today she mentioned her cat doesn't head-butt anymore and she wonders what his problem is.
